The purpose of the study group is finding methods for reaching the Essence of Mind, as taught by the 6th Patriarch Hui Neng. His Sutra in English and Mandarin has been handed over to me by a monk of the Nanhua Temple in China, where his body resides. Additionally, we also use the Surangama Sutra that contains a lot of valuable knowledge and methods not widely known. We use Dutch and English, if you speak only English, there is no problem. All documentation is basically in English and only the Sutra of Hui Neng gets also translated into Dutch. Some Dharma knowledge is needed to be able to understand the topics.
